Overview
SAP BASIS is the module that takes care of all technical components of the SAP system except for ABAP. It is the System Administration aspect of the SAP system with functions that have a cross-system impact. SAP BASIS is actually the foundation of SAP system i.e. the technical layer of the SAP system, and without it the SAP system can not function.BASIS means Business Application Software Integrated Solution but nowadays, it’s basically known as SAP NetWeaver System Administration.
